TripPlot · Web · New
Plan the trip. Plot the places. Relive every day.
One place for your itinerary, the spots you want to see, a budget that lives inside the plan, and a journal your friends and family can follow along with.
Launched 27 September 2026 · Pro free until 30 November · iPhone app in development · tripplot.io
Why I built it · 01
TripPlot grew out of my Travel Planner prototype — a planner I built for one trip and then tested for three months. It proved the point: the places, the day-by-day plan and the budget belong in one app, not in four apps and a folder of bookmarks. TripPlot is that idea for everyone — your own account, your own trips, and the people you travel with on the same plan.
What it does · 02
Add places on the fly
Search for a place, paste a Google Maps link or just tap the map. Every place lands on your trip map with its opening hours and links.
A day-by-day calendar
Morning, afternoon, evening. Drag places into days, then subscribe from your iPhone or Google Calendar so the plan is in your pocket.
A budget that lives in the plan
Planned costs come from your itinerary; what you actually spend is logged as you go — in your home currency and the local one.
Work with your travel agent
Send your itinerary to your own agent for a quote, then import their reply — PDF, spreadsheet or pasted email — straight back into your calendar.
A journal worth sharing
Photos, moods and notes for every day, with a private link for the people who couldn’t come.
Plan together
Invite your travel companions to edit or just view. Companions can add places without seeing the money.
Launch offer: Pro is free until 30 November · 02.1
TripPlot launched on 27 September 2026 after three months of prototype testing. Every Pro feature — unlimited trips and places, calendar sync, journal sharing and inviting companions — is free until 30 November 2026. Register by then and you keep free Pro access.
Coming to iPhone and iPad · 02.2
A native iPhone and iPad app is in development — built in Swift and SwiftUI, like my other apps, using the same account as the web. Until it’s in the App Store, tripplot.io works in the browser on any phone.
Questions · 03
Is it free?
Yes. There’s a free plan for planning a trip, and Pro is free for everyone until 30 November 2026. If you register by then, you keep free Pro access.
Is there an iPhone app?
It’s in development — a native iPhone and iPad app that uses the same account and your same trips. Until then, tripplot.io works in your phone’s browser.
Can I plan with other people?
Yes. Invite companions by email as editors or viewers, and share a read-only journal link with anyone else.
Does it book flights or hotels?
No. TripPlot is where you plan — it doesn’t sell or book anything. Costs are what you enter or what your agent quotes, so they’re estimates until you book. It isn’t financial advice.
