Travel Planner Prototype privacy policy

Last updated: 12 September 2026

Travel Planner Prototype is made by Intrinsic Ninja (ABN 92386964622), Canberra, Australia. This policy says what data Travel Planner Prototype handles, why, and what control you have over it. If anything here is unclear, ask through the contact form.

What I collect

Trip data. The flight, accommodation and budget information entered into the planner, the places added to the daily plan, and expenses logged against the budget. That’s all it collects, and it exists only so the planner works.

The prototype has no public accounts. Nothing is shared with anyone.

Technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested).

What I don’t collect

  • I never sell your data, and I never share it with anyone for marketing.
  • I don’t use advertising trackers.
  • I don’t buy data about you from anyone else.

How I use it

To show the itinerary, compare options, work out what’s left of the budget and keep the daily plan. Nothing else.

Where it’s stored

On servers in Australia. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed — I can’t read them.

Who else sees it

Nobody, except the services that host and run the app (the hosting provider; Google Analytics for anonymised web usage). I’ll only disclose personal information if the law requires it.

How long I keep it

Trip data stays for the life of the trip plan and is deleted when the plan is. Server logs roll over within 90 days.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of your data, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it through the contact form. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) if you think I’ve handled your data badly — but please tell me first so I can fix it.

Children

Travel Planner Prototype isn’t designed for anyone under 16 and I don’t knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes I’ll update the date at the top and, for anything significant, tell you in the app.
