Electra privacy policy
Last updated: 12 September 2026
Electra is made by Intrinsic Ninja (ABN 92386964622), Canberra, Australia. This policy says what data Electra handles, why, and what control you have over it. If anything here is unclear, ask through the contact form.
What I collect
Wizard answers. The answers you give in “Find my perfect EV” (budget, daily range, charging setup, FBT eligibility) are stored so I can improve the recommendations. They are not linked to your name or email — Electra has no accounts.
Technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) and, on the web app, Google Analytics 4 usage data. Analytics is anonymised and I don’t use it to identify you.
What I don’t collect
- I never sell your data, and I never share it with anyone for marketing.
- I don’t use advertising trackers.
- I don’t buy data about you from anyone else.
How I use it
To show you results, and — in aggregate, never individually — to see which questions and answers lead to useful recommendations so I can make the wizard better.
Where it’s stored
On servers in Australia. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed — I can’t read them.
Who else sees it
Nobody, except the services that host and run the app (the hosting provider; Google Analytics for anonymised web usage). I’ll only disclose personal information if the law requires it.
How long I keep it
Wizard answers are kept in aggregate indefinitely; they contain nothing that identifies you. Server logs roll over within 90 days.
Your rights
You can ask me for a copy of your data, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it through the contact form. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) if you think I’ve handled your data badly — but please tell me first so I can fix it.
Children
Electra isn’t designed for anyone under 16 and I don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes I’ll update the date at the top and, for anything significant, tell you in the app.
